1941 Silver Plate Insulated Water Pot from The Muehlebach Hotel in Kansas City MO

95.00

A vintage 1941 silver plate insulated hot water pot from the historic Hotel Muehlebach in Kansas City MO! The Presidential Suite of the Muehlebach was the White House headquarters for Harry S. Truman during his frequent visits to his home in nearby Independence, Missouri!

The pot is in great condition, no damage or dents, and it only has a very minor amount of the age/wear you'd expect from an old hotel/transportation piece and one bump on the handle where the lid finial meets the handle. Made by Reed & Barton for Hotel Muehlebach, as marked on the base (with the date symbol for 1941).

This pot measures nearly 7" tall to the top of the finial.
