A lovely vintage c. 1920s silver plate 4 slice toast rack from an Orient Line steamship or ocean liner! In excellent condition, no dents or damage, just small signs of use and age you would expect from old ship silver. Minor tarnish that will polish up perfectly if desired. No makers marks, but marked with the Orient Line logo on one side of the rack.

Measures approximately 4 inches long by 2.75 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall

The Orient Line, also known as the Orient Steam Navigation Company, was a British shipping company that was active from the late 18th century until it was absorbed by P&O in 1966. During the 1920s, when this toast rack was in use, their ships often took passengers and mail/cargo from England to Australia.
